First Day of School!!!!

What was your favorite part about first day of school when you were a child?
How does it feel now as a parent?
Today, on my basic story, I tell you about mine. And I also share a snip of my basic conversation with Jonathan Frost, Executive Director of Youth For Christ. He shares with us some really good info for us to get involved and inform about the needs teenagers are facing right now.
He also shares how He accidentally started a Youth Bible Study with friends and neighbors and the seeds he is planting.

Help! Teenager in da house!!!!

How often do you think about how you felt as a teen? Do you have one around? Remember the moodiness? I knew it all!!! Yet, no one understood me. I felt empowered by my friends because there were not many adults around that did.
Having a teenager in the house has sparked my intentionality and curiosity as a parent...am I doing this right? Am I the only one that feels challenged?
